Plot Synopsis

In this revival of the original IRON CHEF series, actor Hiroshi Tamaki is the new Chairman and three brand new Japanese Iron Chefs battle valiantly to defend the honored throne in the place where it all began. Jun Kurogi, Yuji Wakiya, and Yosuke Suga proudly assume the title and take on formidable secret ingredients and challengers each week. This version of IRON CHEF had its U.S. premiere on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on Cooking Channel. In this episode, "Battle Chicken," Iron Chef Yosuke Suga, defender of French cuisine, takes on challenger Yosuke Kawasaki, a Western-style chef, in an epic battle featuring a seemingly simple ingredient: chicken.
