Plot Synopsis

JAILBIRDS is a docuseries that goes behind bars at the Sacramento County Jail to follow both first-time and veteran women inmates trying to fight the power and one another as they try to make the best of life -- and love -- on the inside. The series opens with a new prison arriving, while another prepares to leave. Troublemaker Drea messes with cellmates Noonie and Monster, and soon it's payback time. On Friday, May 10, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of JAILBIRDS.
