Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the work of renowned ethologist Dr. Jane Goodall, JANE is a 10-episode series for kids that follows Jane Garcia, a nine-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: "Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved." All 10 episodes of JANE dropped on Friday, April 14, 2023 in honor of the upcoming Earth Day observance.

The entire five-episode second season of JANE dropped on Friday, April 19, 2024 on Apple TV+. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: "Only if we understand, will we care. In the season opener, "Ailuropoda melanoleuca," Jane, David, and Greybeard must reunite a lost baby panda with its mother -- and find out why they're the only bears with six fingers.
