Plot Synopsis

Featuring everything from classics to supercars, and restoration projects to road tests, host Jay Leno covers the car collector's market, including the best investments and valuations in the space. Based on his web series of the same name, JAY LENO'S GARAGE will "highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century," according to Leno, who is an executive producer for this series in addition to being its host. In each one-hour episode, Jay travels the country on the hunt for the car world's most radical rides and highlight the passion and the stories behind them, while offering consumer advice or investigating the latest automotive innovations. JAY LENO'S GARAGE follows Jay on his journey through the always fascinating world of people, their prized automobiles and cars everywhere, new and old. In the season premiere, "American Muscle," Jay revisits the golden era of American muscle cars. He explores what started the trend, why they're so valuable today, and if there's a rebirth on the horizon. He visits old pal and muscle car aficionado Tim Allen, hits the drag strip with the first female Pro Stock champion, gets an exclusive look at GM's top secret 1960's concept car "The Pegasus", and drives with NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson in his souped-up classic Corvette...all to find out why Americans will always love these powerful cars. Other celebrities appearing in Season 1 include: actors Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne; award-winning director Francis Ford Coppola; Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson; and comedian Jeff Dunham; among others. Season 2 of JAY LENO'S GARAGE premiered on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on CNBC. In the season opener, Jay explores the wild designs and cutting-edge technology behind the world's most coveted vehicles: supercars. He negotiates his way into Robert Herjavec's iconic Countach, learns why Nick Cannon likes to drive slow in his Ferrari, gets an exclusive look at an ultra-powerful Koenigsegg mega car, and tests comedian Alonzo Bodden's car knowledge -- all to find out if these high-priced vehicles are really worth all the hype. Additional celebrity appearances this season include Jerry Seinfeld, Patrick Dempsey, Tim Allen, Dan Aykroyd, reality stars Caitlyn and Kendall Jenner, country superstar Brad Paisley, Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis, singer and TV personality Kelly Rowland, comedians David Spade and Jeff Dunham and NASCAR's Joey Logano, among others. After a four-month break, JAY LENO'S GARAGE returned with new Season 2 episodes on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on CNBC. In the fall premiere, "Love Stories," Jay explores the deep emotional connection people have with their vehicles. He meets one of Joe Biden's greatest loves... a 1967 Corvette; then sets up a once-in-a-lifetime race between the Vice President and Colin Powell. Jay also takes a sentimental ride with champion wrestler Bill Goldberg, goes camping with VW Bus collector and comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias, and hits the racetrack with a premiere Ferrari collector who has a powerful backstory. Through these encounters, he discovers just how much a car can mean to its owner. Season 3 of JAY LENO'S GARAGE premieres on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 with back-to-back episodes from 9-11pm ET on CNBC. From monster trucks and car chases to roller coasters and a giant hot dog car, Jay is all in for fun. Season 3 consists of 16 episodes. Celebrity guests this season include President George W. Bush and Laura Bush, Ted Koppel, Wanda Sykes, Michael Strahan, Brad Garrett, Josh Duhamel, J.B. Smoove, among others. Six all-new episodes featuring dangerous stunts, top speeds and intense inclines...always guaranteed to be a wild ride! And...he'll be back with more celebrity guests including Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. On the January 4th season premiere episode, Jay Leno explores the various reasons people may put themselves -- and their vehicles -- in harm's way. First, he hangs out with people who like danger just for the thrill, like Travis Pastrana and his action sport collective, Nitro Circus. Next, he meets someone who faces her fears for money: famous stunt driver Debbie Evans. Then, Jay attempts his most dangerous challenge yet...teaching Gilbert Gottfried to drive -- in a new Ferrari. Finally, he talks saving lives and specialized vehicles with airport firefighters. On Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, CNBC debuted "Movie Cars," the Season 4 premiere of JAY LENO'S GARAGE. Jamie Foxx shows Jay that he's no baby driver when it comes to stunts, then professional stunt driver Ben Collins finds himself trapped in a Bond chase scene -- with Jay playing evil villain. Jay gets an exclusive look at the original Mustang Steve McQueen drove in the film BULLITT. And musician James Taylor gets reunited with his car from his cult classic TWO-LANE BLACKTOP. It's an action-packed tour of the cars that co-star in some of our favorite films.
