Plot Synopsis

Each week Jesse James performs a different death-defying physical challenge that he's always wanted to try -- finishing the Baja 500, hitting 200 mph on a Nitro bike, and riding a motorcycle in minus-60 degree weather in the Arctic. The series focuses on his preparation as much as the stunt since training can be most dangerous. To show the viewers just how risky each challenge can be, "Jesse James Is a Dead Man" uses CGI graphics -- similar to "Sport Science" -- to reveal the physiological stress James' body will endure. And if that's not enough to convince viewers that James is a modern-day daredevil, they should know by the middle of the season because James suffers from broken ribs, a concussion and a chipped elbow bone.
