Plot Synopsis

THE JOE SCHMO SHOW parodies elements of many reality shows, except it has a secret... only one contestant is real! What that person doesn't know is that everyone else on the show -- from the host to the other ''contestants'' -- are really actors following a pre-determined storyline as they ''compete'' for the $100,000 first-place prize. In Season 1, Matt Kennedy Gould thought he was a contestant on a new reality show called LAP OF LUXURY. During Season 2, which premiered on June 15, 2004, Tim Walsh and Amanda Naughton were fooled while taking part in a new reality show called LAST CHANCE FOR LOVE. After being off the air for more than eight years, THE JOE SCHMO SHOW returned for a new season on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10pm ET on Spike, with Chase Rogan thinking he's competing on the new series FULL BOUNTY.
