Plot Synopsis

Loosely based on the life of the famed Judge Lynn Toler, JUDGE ME NOT is a one-hour legal drama series that centers on Zelma Jay Johnson, a bright young Black woman, who struggles with mental health issues, a ludicrous family, and volatile love life. The series joins her as she takes on her new role as a judge in a court full of outrageous characters -- both in front of and behind the bench. As her passionate relationship with her live-in lover takes them both on a ride, she finds herself caught in the crosshairs of a psychological thriller that puts her life at risk. Created, written, and executive produced by Judge Lynn Toler, JUDGE ME NOT premiered on Thursday, May 25, 2023, as AllBlk released the first episode. A new installment dropped weekly on Thursdays through July 13.

On Thursday, July 13, 2023, AllBlk released "Judgement Day," the season finale of JUDGE ME NOT. A man attacks a young girl. Jay wakes to find herself in serious trouble. Court personnel try to locate Jay while she fights to outwit her assailant. Daryl struggles to reach Jay as the police close in.
