Plot Synopsis

JUDGE STEVE HARVEY is a one-hour unscripted courtroom comedy series, where Steve Harvey serves as the judge, jury and star. Real-life people with real-life conflicts present their case in his courtroom -- ranging from family disputes, unpaid bets, sour friendships and everything in between. With the help of Nancy, his trusted bailiff by trade, Steve plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom on his own life experiences and some good old common sense. In the first case of the series opener, "Not Mending Fences,", neighbors and former friends sue each other for the cost of repairs after allegedly damaging a fence during a holiday party. In the second case, sisters argue after one demands that the other owes her money, claiming she used the money donated to pay for their brother's funeral expenses on herself instead. In the third case, another pair of siblings clash when a sister sues her younger brother, a carpenter, for unfinished work for which she already paid.

JUDGE STEVE HARVEY returned for its second season on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC. In Season 2, Steve Harvey continues to serve as judge, jury and star, and must rule on various cases in his courtroom based on good old common sense. The season opener, "Everybody Plays the Fool," features these cases: exes in legal battles over car loans, trip reimbursements and former best friends suing over a football bet. Cases in later episodes include: family members suing over cremation services, a gender reveal gone wrong, a ruined wedding dress, and much more.

After a six-month break, JUDGE STEVE HARVEY returned with new episodes on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC. In the winter premiere, "Current Friend Count: Zero," Steve Harvey is back, serving as judge, jury and star, and must rule on various cases in his courtroom based on good old common sense. Cases feature feuds over a dream honeymoon, unpaid sports bets, and a bad haircut from grandma.
