Plot Synopsis

KANGAROO DUNDEE is a half-hour reality series that follow Chris 'Brolga' Barnes, a tough Australian who rescues orphan joeys and raises his brood of almost 30 kangaroos as their 'mum' at an outback sanctuary near Alice Springs. Inside the tin shack Brolga calls home are the most recent additions to his mob: two orphan joeys named Rex and Ruby. Tiny and fragile, they need constant care, and it is up to Brolga to provide them with everything they need -- food, love and even a makeshift pouch. Out in the sanctuary, female kangaroo Ella has a joey outstaying his welcome in her pouch, and there is a run-in with Roger, who was once a helpless orphan, but is now the mob boss -- and even Brolga has to watch his step. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9-10pm ET, as the cable channel debuted back-to-back episodes.
