Plot Synopsis

Famous D-lister and two-time Emmy winner Kathy Griffin hosts this one-hour, weekly talk show. Every Thursday night, Kathy performs stand up, rants about pop culture, and provides her own take on celebrities, co-workers, friends, politicians, and yes, even her own boxed-wine swilling mother, Maggie. When KATHY first premiered, the show did not feature celebrity guests nor celebrity panels; instead, Griffin wanted to have a "panel of civilians" -- just regular people "who just happen to be opinionated and super funny." Halfway through the first season, KATHY included an eclectic mix of celebrity guest panelists, like the Sklar brothers, Anderson Cooper, Robert Verdi, Jane Fonda and Jimmy Kimmel. Season 2 opened on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10pm ET, with Jane Lynch and Liza Minnelli as celebrity guest panelists.
