Plot Synopsis

Broadcasting every weekday from New York City in front of a studio audience, Katie Couric explores what's going on in the world, using her personal experience and insight to get to the heart of what matters most. The syndicated, one-hour show includes powerful segments and thoughtful interviews with newsmakers, celebrities, and everyday people who have extraordinary stories to tell. KATIE returned for its second season on Monday, September 9, 2013, with a season opener that featured rapper Lil Wayne, who sat down for an exclusive conversation with Katie.

"Katie Challenge for Change" is a weeklong 2013 programming event, airing November 18-22, during which the show travels to five cities across the country and, with the help of special correspondent Cameron Hughes, challenges communities to create positive changes by partnering with local charities in these cities:
