Plot Synopsis

KENTUCKY BIDDERS explores the goings-on at family-owned Sammie's Auction House in rural Corbin, Kentucky, where the Isaac family and their employees buy or sell just about anything. Founded over 65 years ago in a building on Depot Street in Corbin by Sammie Sr. (the grandfather), Sammie's Auction House has been buying rare and sometimes outrageous items from out-of-state dealers, local merchants, estate sales and tractor trailers. One customer even tried to sell them Gulf shrimp out of the trunk of his car. After they purchase merchandise during the week, the family tries to sell it at weekend auctions every Friday and Saturday evening. This 30-minute reality series follows Sammie III, his parents Sammie Jr. and Debbie, and his younger brothers David and Mark, as they continue their family tradition.
