Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Kevin Hart, KEVIN HART PRESENTS: THE NEXT LEVEL is series of half-hour comedy specials, each focusing on a single comedian hand-selected and introduced by Hart. Each 30-minute episode opens on an interview with Hart that leads into a special from one of these seven featured comedians (in alphabetical order): James Davis (Hood Adjacent), Ray Grady, Spank Horton, B.T. Kingsley, Vincent Oshana, Taneshia "Just Nesh" Rice, Mario Tory. In the series opener, Hart brings his old friend "Spank" Horton to the show, as the duo discuss how Spank made the transition from audience heckler to professional stand-up comedian. Then, Spank takes the stage to talk about the difficulties of marriage, being a father to a giant teenage son, and living in white suburbia. Season 2 of KEVIN HART PRESENTS: THE NEXT LEVEL premiered on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central. Comedians for the six-episode second season are Gueterrius 'T. Murph' Jackson (Aug. 3), Tacarra Williams (Aug. 10), Miguel 'Malik S.' Sanon (Aug. 17), Jeff Horste (Aug. 24), Ron G (Aug. 31), and Marvin Hunter (Sep. 7).
