Plot Synopsis

Hosted by a rotating lineup of THE KITCHEN co-hosts -- Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, Marcela Valladolid, and Geoffrey Zakarian -- this half-hour weekly series offers viewers an inside look at what's new, what's trending, and what's most searched in the world of food. Each 30-minute episode of THE KITCHEN SINK features a different theme, while touching on the hottest food trends, amazing kitchen hacks, simple cooking shortcuts, and more. The series premiere focuses on the best snacks ever, with Sunny, Jeff, and Marcela ready to take all-time favorite snack foods to the next level! Potato chips, pretzels and donuts are made over into delicious snacks that will have guests and family members coming back for more.

Season 2 of THE KITCHEN SINK premiered on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 11am ET/PT on Food Network, as Tregaye Fraser, winner of FOOD NETWORK STAR Season 12, and Fanny Slater, winner of Rachael Ray's Great American Cookbook Challenge, joined the series for a new season, along with the co-hosts of THE KITCHEN and special guests. The season opener, "Foods You Need in Your Life," kicks off with a new way to weave bacon into every bite of breakfast, then Tregaye Fraser and Jeff Mauro take nachos to a new level with twists on the classic snack food. Inspired by the pizza pot pie, Fanny Slater wows with her combination of pizza and quesadillas. Finally, the Sink hits the streets to see one of the hottest dessert trends then shows how to make twists on ice cream cones at home.
