Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Beth Stern, national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America -- with announcers Mary Carillo and David Frei -- KITTEN SUMMER GAMES features the nation's most athletic and adoptable kittens competing in a series of sporting events. Cat-letes compete in competitions including kitten gymnastics with balance beam, uneven bars, rings and floor exercises, de-CAT-hlon with track and field, pole vault and high jump, as well as volleyball, tennis and wrestling. Adoptable kittens from all over the nation have been training, and the best cat-letes come together in the hopes of bringing home a gold, silver or bronze medal. Just like Hallmark Channel's annual KITTEN BOWL, KITTEN SUMMER GAMES is part of the cable chanel's "Pet Project," an initiative devoted to celebrating pets and its core purpose bringing light to the plight of shelter pets and the incredible joy adopting a pet can bring to our lives. For KITTEN SUMMER GAMES, North Shore Animal League America and Last Hope Animal find forever homes for all kittens, once the games conclude. Plus, Hallmark Channel partnered with North Shore Animal League America to host nationwide adoption drives the weekend prior to the premiere, with the goal of dramatically increasing pet adoptions.
