Plot Synopsis

KNUCKLES is a six-episode live-action event series that follows Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protege and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3. In addition to Idris Elba starring as the titular character, Adam Pally reprises his role from the film franchise as Wade Whipple. Special guest star Ben Schwartz reprise his role as Sonic, as well as special guest star Tika Sumpter, reprising her role as Maddie. Colleen O'Shaughnessey also returns as a special guest star in her role as Tails. All six half-hour episodes of KNUCKLES dropped on Friday, April 26, 2024 on Paramount+. KNUCKLES made its linear television debut with back-to-back episodes on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 7pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon. A new installment debuted daily at 7pm throughout the rest of the week, with the finale airing on Friday, August 16.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, Paramount Home Entertainment released KNUCKLES the Paramount+ live-action event series on DVD, Blu-ray and a Limited-Edition Blu-ray Steelbook with all six hilarious episodes.
