Plot Synopsis

KOLLABORATION STAR 2012 chronicled hopeful contestants competing in a national talent show, as they vied for a grand prize including $2000 and a trip to Hong Kong to attend the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Talented individuals and groups first competed in 12 local competitions, where the best-judged act in eah city advanced to the regionals. In each regional competition (Mid/South; East; West), four local winners performed, as they tried to impress the home audience. After each regional competition aired, home viewers went online to vote at www.kollaboration.org, and the top two vote getters in each of the three regions advanced to the finals. Six talented finalists performed in a grand finale show on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA, where one act was selected as the 2012 winner.
