Plot Synopsis

Executive chef and food writer Judy Joo travels back to South Korea, embarking on a culinary journey to the amazing people and places that inspired her Korean cooking. Plus, she shares her passion for authentic traditional and modern Korean dishes, sharing her super-simple recipes and inspiring everyone to try out Korean flavors and ingredients for family and friends. Cooking Channel aired the U.S. premiere of KOREAN FOOD MADE SIMPLE on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 12:30pm ET/9:30am PT.
Season 2 of KOREAN MADE SIMPLE returned for its second season in the United States on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 9am ET/6am PT. In the season opener, "Meat Lovers," Judy shares simple, spectacular dishes for meat lovers with foolproof Korean barbecue beef short ribs, a Spicy Pork Belly Cheesesteak and her version of Korean Steak Tartare. In Seoul, Judy joins restaurateur Sid Kim for a pork barbecue banquet, eating a midnight feast of roasted pig's feet and finds an usual takeaway -- steak.
