Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by comedian Maria Bamford and inspired by her life, LADY DYNAMITE is a half-hour, single-camera comedy series that tells the story of a women who loses -- and then finds -- her s#!t. While Bamford plays a fictionalized of herself, other actors portray her family members (Mary Kay Place and Ed Begley Jr. as her parents), friends (Lennon Parham and Bridget Everett as Larissa and Dagmar, respectively), manager (Fred Melamed as Bruce Ben-Bacharach), and agent (Ana Gasteyer as Karen Grisham). Guest stars in Season 1 include: Sarah Silverman, Tig Notaro, Adam Pally, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate, June Diane Raphael, Mira Sorvino, Brandon Routh, Dean Cain, and Jon Cryer. On Friday, May 20, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire first season.

On Friday, November 10, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire eight-episode second season of LADY DYNAMITE, which plunges into the wild new world of coupledom, as Maria grapples with trust issues, the stresses of cohabitation and a brewing showdown with her mom.
