Plot Synopsis

LADY HOGGERS follows three hog hunters -- Christine Chreene, Julie Snead and Gary Stamper -- as they help homeowners, farmers and businessmen by catching insane boars bare-handed around Lake Okeechobee in Florida. There are an estimated 4 - 5 million feral hogs running wild across the country, mainly in the Gulf Coast. These mean, destructive and brutal creatures devastate agriculture, infect livestock with disease, destroy entire ecosystems, and even attack humans, causing billions of dollars in crop and property damage every year. In each 30-minute episode, Christine, Julie and Gary take on two different jobs, where they help: a family with a domestic sow in heat, which is attracting wild boars and juveniles to their backyard; Miss Virginia, whose cattle ranch has a boar infestation that threatens her property and business; a rancher whose property is swarming with boars -- and alligators; a golf-course owner who has to deal with aggressive hogs on the links; an expectant mother who has wild hogs in her backyard; and many more situations where hogs cause damage.
