Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Cipha Sounds, LAFF MOBB'S LAFF TRACKS is a half-hour series that introduces the next generation of comedians. Cipha welcomes a rotating cast of comedians who perform hilarious stand-up routines, with each joke brought to life by actors performing over-the-top re-creations. Each 30-minute episode features three or four comedians, one of whom is featured in Cipha Sound's "Joke of the Night" to close out each program. Comedians include:

"First Class" (January 3): Mark Viera, Barry Brewer, Yamaneika Saunders.

"Strong Women" (January 10): Reyna Amaya, Donnivin Jordan, Tony Baker, Aida Rodriguez.

"Ride or Die" (January 17): Chaunte Wayans, Fatimah Taliah, Reyna Amaya, Mark Viera.

"Soul Mom" (January 24): Joyelle Johnson, Daniel Weingarten, Yamaneika Saunders, Rachel Feinstein.

"Nostalgia Trip" (January 31): Tony Baker, Davell Taylor, Shatara Curry, Mark Viera.

Other comedians scheduled to appear in the first season include: Nate Jackson, Ayanna Dookie, DC Ervin, Trey Elliot, Mike Troy, Alycia Cooper, Tyree Elaine, and many more.

After a 5.5-month break, LAFF MOBB'S LAFF TRACKS returned with new episodes on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:30pm ET/PT on truTV. In this new episode, "The Laffs Are Back," Clayton English recalls his nightmare day job, and Kira Soltanovich has a screaming match with her toddler son. Plus, Kerry Coddett gets catcalled by a toothless panhandler, and Daniel Tirado daydreams about ditching his phone.


Season 2 of LAFF MOBB'S LAFF TRACKS premiered on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11pm ET/PT on truTV. Once again hosted by Cipha Sounds, each episode of the new season features a special headliner joined by a rotating cast of comedians who perform hilarious stand-up routines and each joke is heightened through over-the-top visual recreations. Headline appearances throughout the season include Chris Redd (season premiere), Michelle Buteau, Gina Yashere, Ali Siddiq, Yamaneika Saunders, Orlando Leyba, Rachel Feinstein, Janelle James, Ronnie Jordan, Clayton English, James Davis, and Chaunte Wayans.

On Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11pm ET/PT, truTV premiered the season finale of LAFF MOBB'S LAFF TRACKS, featuring Rachel Feinstein.
