Plot Synopsis

Written and created by Peter Moffat, THE LAST POST is a one-hour drama series set in the 1960s that follows a unit of Royal Military Police officers and their families, as they deal with the challenges of politics, love and war in the shimmering heat of British-controlled Aden. The series opens with Captain Joe Martin arriving in Aden with his wife Honor to replace the outgoing and much-loved Captain Nick Page of the Royal Military Police. Joe will have to quickly gain favor with his men while Honor struggles to do the same with the wives. Led by Major Harry Markham, the Royal Military Police assist special forces on a dangerous mission. Mary Markham experiences complications with her baby's birth, and Alison Laithwaite introduces Honor to the BP Club. THE LAST POST had its U.S. premiere on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Amazon released the entire six-episode first season.
