Plot Synopsis

Based on Laura Dave's 2021 book of the same name, THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME is a seven-episode limited series that follows Hannah, a woman who must forge a relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey in order to find the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared. The story opens with Hannah's world being turned upside down when her husband goes missing, leaving her and Bailey behind. Then, a string of frightening events drive Hannah to convince Bailey they need to find out the truth about Owen. And when a clue to Owen's past provides a lead, others start piecing together how much trouble the Michaels family is in. THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME premiered on Friday, April 14, 2023, as Apple TV+ released the first two episodes. A new installment dropped each Friday through May 19.
