Plot Synopsis

Each weeknight at 12:36am ET/PT late night, Jimmy Fallon opens the show with a monologue and then interviews celebrities, integrating his star guests, house band (The Roots), and audience members in comedy segments, sketches, games, videos, and musical performances throughout the 60-minute program. Memorable moments include Fallon dressed as Neil Young in a parody of pop hit "Whip My Hair" with Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake joining Fallon for a musical melody through the "History of Rap," and Fallon and Paul McCartney singing a duet of "Yesterday" with the original lyrics in a performance of "Scrambled Eggs." "The Evolution of Mom Dancing," a comedy video starring Fallon and First Lady Michelle Obama, has amassed more than 15 million hits on YouTube. Plus, parodies of TV shows, such as BREAKING BAD, GAME OF THRONES, THE REAL HOUSEWIVES franchise, JERSEY SHORE, and DOWNTON ABBEY, have been seen by millions.
