Plot Synopsis

Host Peter Klutt and his crew at Legendary Motorcars buy, restore, sell and race classic, vintage and muscle cars. Each 30-minute episode features a single car, including: 1937 Packard, which Peter located in a farmer's shed -- only a few hours from his garage; Boss 429 Mustang, which Peter enters in a Shelby American Automobile Club event in Watkins Glen, NY; 1970 Boss 302 Mustang, which the team restores; 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL, owned by BASF Corp., prompting Peter to make a trip to see the vehicle in Europe; and many more awesome automobiles. Plus, Peter also meets with clients, fans and inspirational figures, like a blind mechanic who gets behind the wheel of a car for the first time. LEGENDARY MOTORCARS returned for its second season on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, as Velocity showed back-to-back new episodes. In the season premiere, Peter was shocked by the originality of a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB 4 cam when the car finally arrived at Legendary after he'd been chasing the car's owner for seven years, trying to convince him to sell. Then, in the night's second episode, Peter received a call about an original Thunderbolt drag car that was sitting in the LMC showroom. The caller claimed he was too busy to come look at the car but asked if Pete could haul it down to a drag strip where he was running his nitro methane funny car. Velocity premiered a new season of LEGENDARY MOTORCARS on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, with back-to-back new episodes. The season opener, "Who's the Boss," pick up from last season when Peter was excited to buy a Boss 429 from a old timer, and was even more excited when a good client buys the car and agrees to a full restoration. Problem is, the old man assured Peter that "all the parts are there". They're there, but cracked. Then, in the night's second new episode (10:30pm), "Cobra Charmer," Gary is excited when he gets a chance to have a look at a original 63 Cobra. The owner makes it clear that he doesn't want to sell the car so the trip is all about collecting info. But after a period of time the owner calls and says he may be in the mood.

On Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT, Velocity premiered the season finale of LEGENDARY MOTORCAR. In the season ender, "Walk-In Business and Buying a Turntable," walk-in sellers and buyers are rare at Legendary Motorcar nowadays, so when a nice 71 Boss 351 pulls into the shop, an unexpected deal may be happening. Sick of taking pictures of cars for the LMC website, Gary has a creative idea.
