Plot Synopsis

LEGENDS OF THE LOST WITH MEGAN FOX is a four-episode docuseries that follows actress and series executive producer Megan Fox, as she attempts to uncover answers about the age-old mysteries that still perplex scientists and archaeologists to this day: What was Stonehenge's real purpose? Was the Trojan War real? Were some of the fierce Viking warriors actually women? Who were the first human settlers to arrive on the shores of what is now North America? Episodes include:

"Viking Women Warriors" (Tuesday, December 4, 2018 @ 8pm ET/PT): Megan journeys to Scandinavia and England to investigate a bold new hypothesis that powerful female warriors played a role in helping the Viking hordes become the most feared army of the time. From the earliest recorded invasions in 790 AD through the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, the Vikings raided and pillaged from Scandinavia to England and Russia, as far east as Newfoundland and to the shores of North Africa. For centuries, it was widely believed that Viking men led the charge. But new archaeological findings are questioning these long held beliefs, and Megan Fox is on a quest to find the truth about the elite Viking warriors.

"Stonehenge: The Healing Stones" (Tuesday, December 11, 2018 @ 8pm ET/PT): Megan travels to the United Kingdom to explore one of the most mysterious archaeological sites in the world - Stonehenge. She'll investigate why our ancestors built this enigmatic monument and explore whether the stones possess supernatural powers. Was Stonehenge an ancient calendar, the world's first "supercomputer," or a Stone Age hospital? Or perhaps it was all, or none, of the above?

"America's Lost Civilization" (Tuesday, December 18, 2018 @ 8pm ET/PT): For nearly 100 years, scientists have said that humans came to what is today the United States of America at the end of the last Ice Age, some 13,000 years ago. But new archaeological findings along the Savannah River in the southeastern United States show that a great migration could have happened as far back as 48,000 BC. Some believe these first settlers were gigantic prehistoric versions of homo sapiens. Megan Fox seeks to uncover who, or what, these early settlers really were.

"The Trojan War: Myth or Truth?" (Tuesday, December 25, 2018 @ 8pm ET/PT): Megan travels to Turkey to try to answer the longstanding question: Did the infamous Trojan War actually take place? Using one of the greatest Greek legends, Homer's Iliad, as her treasure map, Fox examines high-tech data and the latest archaeological finds along the coast of modern day Turkey in search of answers. Was Homer's Iliad the greatest work of fiction ever written... or was he recording real events?
