Plot Synopsis

LION KINGDOM is a one-hour documentary series that follows three prides of lions that battle over territory, food and power near a beautiful oasis on the Mwagusi River in Tanzania, where there is always water called the Glade. When these lions cross paths with thousands of thirsty buffalo at the height of the summer, disaster follows. And as the dry season continues, drama ensues when hungry lions in Ruaha, as elephants arrive in search of water.
