Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Kumail Nanjiani and inspired by the true stories featured in Epic Magazine's "Little America," LITTLE AMERICA is a half-hour anthology series that observes the funny, romantic, heartfelt, inspiring, and surprising stories of immigrants in America. On Friday, January 17, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Apple TV+ released the entire eight-episode first season of LITTLE AMERICA, which features these stories about: 12-year-old Kabir, who is left to run the family's motel after his parents are deported; Beatrice, who risks it all by coming to America from Uganda to go to college to become a baker; an undocumented high schooler, whose life is changed by an urban-squash coach; a Nigerian student who finds a sense of connection through Oklahoma's cowboy culture; Sylviane, who falls for a fellow meditator during a 10-day silent retreat; Faraz, who plans to build his family dream home despite a seemingly insurmountable obstacle; and more.

The entire eight-episode second season of LITTLE AMERICA dropped on Friday, December 8, 2022 on Apple TV+. Season 2 explores eight stories inspired by real people from around the world, including a Belizian woman (Stacy Rose) who works for a Hasidic family in New York, a Korean man (Ki Hong Lee) who makes hats for the Black church community in 1980s Detroit, and the story of a 40-something Japanese woman in Columbus, Ohio (Shiori Ideta) whose dream is to assemble an all-women's baseball league to fulfill her lifelong passion for the sport.
