Plot Synopsis

Created by Jessie Nelson and executive produced by Sara Bareilles and J.J. Abrams, LITTLE VOICE is a half-hour coming-of-age dramedy series that follows Bess King, a uniquely talented performer struggling to fulfill her dreams in New York while navigating rejection, love and complicated family issues. Featuring original music by Bareilles, this is a story about finding your authentic voice -- and the courage to use it. The story opens with Bess racing from job to job in NYC while trying to find the courage to perform her own material. Then, Bess takes her brother Louis's advice and gets rehired at the club, and gets her first paying gig thanks to her friend Benny. When Bess tries creating a song about hope for a songwriting competition, she's left reeling after an incident with her roommate, Prisha. On Friday, July 10, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Apple TV+ released the first three episodes of the 10-episode series.
