Plot Synopsis

LIVE! is a one-hour syndicated series that airs each weekday morning in more than 200 markets across America, featuring celebrity guests, musical performances, how-to lifestyle segments, contests, themed weeks, and more.

On Monday, September 2, 2013, LIVE! returned for its 26th season, as hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan began their second season together. The Season 26 opener, pre-recorded like all previous Labor Day episodes, featured WEB THERAPY's Lisa Kudrow, pop singer Selena Gomez, and Dr.Wendy Bazilian offering tips for healthy kids' lunches. LIVE! returned for its 27th season on Labor Day 2014 (Monday, September 1, 2014) with: actress Lea Michele, who discusses her book, "Brunette Ambition"; and Dr.Wendy Bazilian, who kicks of the new school year with ideas for healthy lunches.

On Tuesday, September 8, 2015, LIVE! returned for its 28th season (check local listings for channel and time). In the season opener, Kelly and Michael welcomed guests Tyra Banks and Hank Azaria. Plus, for the rest of the week, Kelly and Michael are challenged to "put their money where their mouth is" as they take on experiences that they've talked about on the show during LIVE's first-ever "We Said Whaaat?" Week. This morning, Kelly learns how to raise chickens.

Season 34 of LIVE premiered on Labor Day 2021 (Monday, September 6), with Kelly and Ryan welcoming Bethenny Frankel and Dove Cameron. Guests for the rest of the week included: Jason Biggs & Addison Rae (Tue); Regina Hall & Blue Man Group (Wed); Amanda Peet & Padma Lakshmi (Thu); and Jeff Daniels & Rachael Harris (Fri).

LIVE returned for its 35th season on Monday, September 5, 2022 in national syndication (check local listings). To celebrate Labor Day on Monday, Kelly and Ryan welcome actor Justin Long and comedian Caroline Rhea, plus travel expert Scott Keyes shares getaway ideas for the fall. Then, in celebration of Kelly and Ryan co-hosting together for five years, the show will feature "Favorite Firsts Week," starting Tuesday, September 6. The week is a retrospective look back on favorite "first" moments that Kelly and Ryan have shared together over the years leading up to a special "5ive with Kelly and Ryan" show on Friday, September 9. From Kelly and Ryan's first day together, to their most exciting moments behind the co-host desk and beyond, the week will celebrate the television magic that only Kelly and Ryan can deliver.

On Monday, April 17, 2023, Mark Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest as host of LIVE, joining his wife, Kelly Ripa. Guest for the first week include: Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas & Char Margolis (Mon Apr 17); Scott Foley (Tue Apr 18); Ray Romano & J. Smith-Cameron (Wed Apr 19); Jane Krakowski (Thu Apr 20); and Sheryl Lee Ralph & Annaleigh Ashford (Fri Apr 21).

Season 36 of LIVE debuted on Tuesday, September 6, 2023 in national syndication (check local listings), kicking off the new season with "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Week." The season opener of LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK features Melissa Etheridge (memoir "Talking to My Angels") and team-building exercises. Subsequent episodes in the first week feature: Jake Gyllenhaal (children's book "The Secret Society of Aunts & Uncles"); Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko ("The Bachelorette"); how body language can affect a team; Josh Gad (Broadway's "Gutenberg! The Musical!"); relationship and team building; Phillip Phillips performing; Brie and Nikki Bella (podcast "The Nikki & Brie Show"); bargains for better sleep; and partner Pilates.
