Plot Synopsis

Bird trainer Lloyd Buck, zoologist Matt Thompson, and prop designer James Cooper live inside human-sized version of animal homes to learn about each creature's diet, habits and lifestyle. In each one-hour series, the hosts live like the following animals: human hummingbirds (Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo), where they subsist on a sugary fluid that mimics a diet of flower nectar; giant wasps (New York's American Museum of Natural History), where the threesome resides within a multi-celled papier-mache wasp nest for 36 hours; and big city beavers (London's Alexandra Palace), where they inhabit a beaver lodge, complete with an underwater entrance.
