Plot Synopsis

From a woman taking on a life of celibacy to another choosing to live in a cult, LIVING DIFFERENT is a four-part series that takes a candid look at women who lead unconventional and alternative lifestyles. Each one-hour episode showcase two new stories of brave young women unapologetically marching to the beat of their own drum, as they follow their passion whether it be love, spirituality or profession. Torn between playing by society's rules and living life on their own terms, these women are at a tipping point in their lives and hope by sharing their stories they can seek acceptance from their friends, family and society. Women featured in the four episodes include:

#LoveWithoutLabels: Lizz comes out to her conservative, Mexican Catholic family and must break the news her girlfriend is a transgender; meanwhile, Rain is an androgynous model dating both men and women.

#WarriorWomen: Kristi, a professional MMA fighter, wants to follow in her family's tradition of excelling in athletics; meanwhile, Alexis, a professional women's tackle football player and makeup artist by day, struggles to make her close knit family understand.

#MyExtremeDevotion: Hannah, a Muslim convert and Los Angeles transplant, is determined to be a successful real estate agent despite her devout ways; meanwhile, Dalia and Perl, founding members of the all-girl Hasidic rock band, Bulletproof Stockings, want to take their female empowerment message mainstream.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, Oxygen premiered the season finale of LIVING DIFFERENT. In the season ender, "#MySpiritualLife," Melissa left a lucrative job as a top makeup artist to pursue her real calling as a Psychic Medium; meanwhile, Kiki's heart was shattered when her boyfriend deemed her crazy and left her when her gift as a psychic was revealed to him.
