Plot Synopsis

Based on the "Llama Llama" series of children's books by Anna Dewdney, LLAMA LLAMA is a half-hour animated series that centers on the beloved character and themes revolving around family, friendship and learning new things. This preschool series is about first childhood experiences and adventures, as well as the special connections between the lead character, Llama, his Mama and his grandparents. Each 30-minute episode is comprised of two stories, through the eyes of Llama, as he interacts with the amazing world around him. In the series opener, "Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!; Lost Tooth," Llama and Grandpa gear up for the town's annual Fast Forward Derby. When Llama loses his tooth, Mama helps him retrace his steps. On Friday, January 26, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released 15 episodes of LLAMA LLAMA.

LLAMA LLAMA returned for a 10-episode second season on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire new season. Season 2 features new lessons, new adventures and new friends living right down the street! In the season opener, "Three Friends and a Baby Newman; New Neighbors," Nelly and friends learn a big word -- persistence -- while taking care of her fussy baby brother; Llama welcomes a new face to the neighborhood.
