Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the real-life disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen in 2018 and created for television by Nikolaj Frobenius and Stephen Uhlander, THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE is a fictionalized drama series that centers around the investigators, journalists and lawyers, who, in the wake of the kidnapping, are sucked into a vortex of theories, speculations and rumors. As the mystery remains stubbornly unsolved, the Norwegian police must deal with the frenzied press and deceitful informants to find the truth, and the characters discover just how far they're willing to go in their quest to find an answer. All five episodes of THE LORENSKOG DISAPPEARANCE dropped on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 on Netflix.
