Plot Synopsis

LOST AMAZON: PROJECT Z is a one-hour docuseries that follows veteran explorers James Lynch, Rene Delmotte, and Marsh Mokhtari, as they journey into the hidden world of the Amazon to find evidence that will rewrite the history of civilization. Travel Channel originally scheduled the series pilot to debut on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, but the cable channel removed the program from its listings at the last minute. Two months later on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10pm, Travel Channel premiered the pilot episode. In the pilot, "Hunting Giants," expedition leader James Lynch, navigator Rene Delmotte and field scientist Marsh Mokhtari journey deep into the mountain jungles of the Amazon on a quest to find a legendary empire of giants.
