Plot Synopsis

Corvette restorer and collector Chris Mazzilli and his team at Dream Car Restoration are taking on a once-in-a-lifetime challenge: to restore vehicles that were part of the "barn find" of the Peter Max Collection of vintage Corvettes. 36 Corvettes -- one from each year from 1953 to 1989 -- were discovered covered in dust in a New York City garage. In each half-hour episode, Chris and his team rehab the most important, most iconic and most valuable cars in this one-of-a-kind collection, focusing on the models with the most history and the most challenging restoration hurdles. Tracking down long-retired engine parts, adding horsepower and trying to recreate styles that have been long since discontinued, Chris and team have their work cut out for them. THE LOST CORVETTES premiered on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as FYI debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"The 1967: Ko-Motion" (10pm): The Cream Car Restoration team converts a 1967 Corvette into a replica of the legendary Ko-Motion racecar; the monster engine proves to be too powerful for some parts of the car, causing problems and jeopardizing the entire restoration.

"The 1957: Power Up!" (10:30pm): Chris and his team at Dream Car Restoration restore a vintage 1957 Corvette; the team must source a rare carburetor system and deal with a door full of unique surprises and frustrating challenges.
