Plot Synopsis

Based on the UK series of the same name, LOVE ISLAND is a reality series that follows a group of single "Islanders" who come together in a Fijian Villa, ready to embark on a summer of dating, romance, and ultimately, relationships. Every few days the Islanders pair up and those who are not coupled are at risk of being dumped from the island. Islanders are on the lookout for romance, but the road to love doesn't always run smoothly. Challenges abound with intriguing new Islander arrivals and dramatic twists as friendships and relationships form. In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize. Hosted by Arielle Vandenberg, LOVE ISLAND began with these 11 Islanders: Elizabeth Weber (Age 24; New York City; Advertising Exec); Caroline "Caro" Viehweg (Age 21; Los Angeles; Marketing Student); Mallory Santic (Age 25; Vancouver, WA; Analyst for Nike); Alana Morrison (Age 21; New Haven, CT; College Student); Alexandra Stewart (Age 25; Los Angeles; Publicist); Kyra Green (Age 22; Los Angeles; Musician); Cashel Barnett (Age 27; Sacramento, CA; Model and Musician); Yamen Sanders (Age 24; Los Angeles; Real Estate Agent); Michael Yi (Age 29; Miami; Model); Weston Richey (Age 25; Dallas; Photographer); and Zac Mirabelli (Age 22; Chicago; Grocery Store Cashier).

The sophomore season of LOVE ISLAND premiered on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 8-10pm ET/PT on CBS. Because of COVID-19, Season 2 takes place in the oasis of Las Vegas, where a group of single "Islanders" come together in a stunning villa in Sin City, ready to embark on a summer of dating, romance, and ultimately, relationships. Every few days the Islanders pair up and those who are not coupled are at risk of being dumped from the island. Islanders are on the lookout for romance, but the road to love doesn't always run smoothly. In addition to choosing their partners wisely, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers who have the opportunity to shape events on screen and ultimately crown one lucky couple the winner who will then have the chance to walk away with both love and the cash prize. Host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman return with even more love and romance this summer when the show introduces more Islanders, more nightly episodes and more drama. After months spent in isolation and virtual dating, Islanders finally have the opportunity to date and get to know each other IRL (in real life) while shooting in Las Vegas sequestered in a "bubble" at a stunning villa on top of Ceasars Entertainment's boutique hotel, The Cromwell. The following 11 Islanders embark on a summer of love (and additional Islanders will be introduced later): Kaitlynn Anderson (Age: 27; Promotions; Lapeer, MI); Mackenzie Dipman (Age: 24; Student; Scottsdale, AZ); Tre Forte (Age: 25; Personal trainer; Boca Raton, FL); James McCool (Age: 27; Personal trainer; Winchester, VA); Johnny Middlebrooks (Age: 22; Student; Chesapeake, VA); Justine Ndiba (Age: 27; Billing coordinator /go-go dancer; Rockaway, NJ); Carrington Rodriguez (Age 22; Sales manager; Salt Lake City, UT); Connor Trott (Age: 23; Auditor; Pittsburgh, PA); Moira Tumas (Age: 28; Shopping channel model; Brielle, NJ); Cely Vazquez (Age: 24; Legal secretary; Sacramento, CA); and Jeremiah White (Age: 22; Store sales associate; De Kalb, MS).

Season 3 of LOVE ISLAND premiered on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 9:30-11pm ET/PT on CBS. Host Arielle Vandenberg and narrator Matthew Hoffman return with even more love and romance this summer as the show escapes the desert and heads back to the beach. Islanders will couple up on the sundrenched Hawaiian Island where they will be ready for more texts, fireside ceremonies, challenges and friendships. It is not all sun and rainbows, though, when the ultimate temptation, Casa Amor, returns. And, as always viewers can vote on the Love Island app all season long, having input on who goes on dates, who's at risk from being dumped from the Island and who are fan favorites. Ultimately, one couple will triumph and be crowned the winners of LOVE ISLAND.
