Narrated by Brooke Satchwell, LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM is a 45-minute reality series that follows young adults on the autism spectrum, as they explore the unpredictable world of dating, which can be even more complicated. Most people on the spectrum have the same desire for intimacy and companionship as the rest of the population, yet difficulties in social interaction and communication are a key feature of autism, which makes finding a partner an often daunting and difficult experience. Far too many people on the autism spectrum want love and want to find someone special but haven't had the opportunity. Many haven't been on a date, ever. The series follows seven singles as they take their first steps into the world of dating. As well as help from their families, experts provide our love-seekers with practical skills to help them navigate what can be a confusing experience, giving them the confidence to begin their journey on the road to finding love. Plus, LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM also follows couples who have found their match: Ruth and Thomas, who have been engaged for a year and a half; and Jimmy and Sharnae met each other three years ago. LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM had its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire five-episode first season.

The six-episode second season of LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM dropped on Netflix on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, making its U.S. debut. Searching for a perfect match, seven new and returning young adults on the autism spectrum plunge into the bewildering world of dating. The season opens with Michael continuing his quest for true love at a speed dating event, Kassandra going on her first date in months, and Ronan consulting a relationship expert. Then, match at speed dating leads Michael to an elegant rendezvous, and Ronan embarks on the first date of his life: a romantic picnic followed by lawn games.
