Plot Synopsis

Tyana is a young divorcee who returned home to Southern California for a second chance in life. She decided to take a job in real estate -- making her father Delroy very happy to see her follow in his professional footsteps -- but she planned to work for his competition. Tyana also reconnected with her old friends, especially her best friend Nefertiti who was happily single and ready to help Tyana get her groove back. But Tyana's world was suddenly turned upside down when her unemployed brother, Latrell, unexpectedly moved into her NoHo (North Hollywood) condo. The series is executive produced by comedian/actor Martin Lawrence. TV One aired a four-part sneak peek of the series on three consecutive nights, starting with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 9pm. When LOVE THAT GIRL returned for its 2013-14 season, Tatyana Ali was no longer part of the cast, because of a clause in her contract that prohibited her from being on TV series on competing networks, but she remained a producer on the show. Even though this series now centers around Imunique, LOVE THAT GIRL still largely takes place at Del Jones Realty, with most of the same characters as in prior seasons, while adding Huggy Lowdown, a morning show personality, playing himself, and new character Jasmine, who recently moved to LA. LOVE THAT GIRL returned for its new season on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 9:30pm ET/PT on TV One, moving to its regular timeslot on Fridays at 9pm ET/PT the following week.
On Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, TV One debuted the season finale of LOVE THAT GIRL. In the season ender, "Is This the End?," Delroy pops the question, but discovers that Bridget is still legally wed.
