Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour series, Justin Willman blends good-natured magic with grown-up laughs -- from baffling people on the street to orchestrating elaborate tricks. In the series opener, "Self Control," Justin explores the concepts of marshmallow self-control and why it's best just to go with the flow. Then, in the second episode, Justin tackles the surprisingly magical ways people choose to express themselves -- from school uniforms to latte art to LEGO sculpture. Then, Justin squares off against a robot in a magic battle before tackling these topics -- delivery drones, face yoga and virtual reality -- in the third episode. On Friday, August 17, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the six-episode first season of MAGIC FOR HUMANS.

MAGIC FOR HUMANS returned for its second season on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire six-episode new season. Justin pulls out all the stops and props to amaze real people with playful tricks and showstopping magic routines. In the season opener, "Christmas," Justin embraces the holiday spirit and visits Santa school, gets playful with Susan Sarandon and teaches kids about the magic of giving. Then, in the second episode, "Fake," it's all about suspending disbelief when Justin links TV magic to pro wrestling, fools a lie detector and role-plays a fantasy mage in the park.
