Plot Synopsis

Ms. Frizzle's kid sister Fiona takes the wheel at Walkerville Elementary, leading the class on wild adventures packed with science-fueled fun. Change is good for everyone except Arnold, who's worried that a new teacher will alter the class's "ecosystem." But field trips are now wilder than ever -- into the clouds, across the Internet, riding the continents, and even a plunge into the depths of the sun itself. Along the way, the kids bring their science investigations into the 21st century. Lin-Manuel Miranda sings the program's classic theme song. On Friday, September 29, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released 13 episodes of the first season of THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS RIDES AGAIN.

Netflix released the second season of THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS RIDES AGAIN on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. Season 2 takes Ms. Frizzle and the class to the top of a noodle mountain -- and the center of the sun itself. In the season opener, "The Land Before Tim," the class gets an invite to compete on Tim's favorite TV game show, and the bus takes them all back in time to bone up on how fossils are formed.

Ms. Frizzle's class sees every show on a pop star's New Year's Eve tour, learning about time zones as they attend all her concerts on the same night. Canadian alt-pop singer Lights is the voice of Ms. Frizzle's cousin, Maven, in this musical Magic School Bus adventure.
