Plot Synopsis

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. THE MANDALORIAN is a live-action series set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Jon Favreau is the showrunner on this original series from Lucasfilm and also an executive producer. Directors Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow,Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi will helm different episodes from writers Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa and Chris Yost. The first episode of THE MANDALORIAN premiered at 6am ET/3am PT on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, the same day the streaming network Disney+ launched. A new episode is released each Friday, beginning November 15, 2019.

The eight-episode second season of THE MANDALORIAN premiered on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Disney+ released the season opener. A new episode debuts each Friday through December 18. The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. Directors for Season 2 include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Plus, Katee Sackhoff guest stars as Bo-Katan Kryze, Temuera Morrison plays Boba Fett, John Leguizamo guests as Gor Koresh, Timothy Olyphant portrays Cobb Vanth, and more.

Season 3 of THE MANDALORIAN premiered on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 on Disney+, as the streaming service released the first episode of the new season. The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together. The directors of the eight-episode third season include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Disney+ released "Chapter 24: The Return," the Season 3 finale of THE MANDALORIAN, marking the return of Mandalore, its people, and its culture.
