Plot Synopsis

Written by and starring Paula Pell and John Lutz, MAPLEWORTH MURDERS is a short-form mystery comedy series that centers on Mrs. Abigail Mapleworth, who has written 64 murder-mystery novelles and now tries to solve real-life murders in the small town of New Woodstream -- with the help of sidekick Heidi. The series features a "who's who" of guest suspects and victims, raising one big question: Why are there so many murderers in this one small town? Recurring and guest stars include: SNL alums Fred Armisen, Tim Meadows, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Chris Parnell, and Andy Samberg; and others like Wanda Sykes, Nicole Byer, D'Arcy Carden, Patton Oswalt, Jack McBrayer, Ike Barinholtz, Terry Crews, Pam Murphy, Ben Warheit, Annie Mumolo, Mary Holland, James Anderson, Drew Tarver, and Jimmy Carlson. On Monday, August 10, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released the first three episodes of this series, which is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers. New episodes debut weekly on Mondays.
