Plot Synopsis

MARRIED TO MEDICINE is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of women from Atlanta, who are doctors and wives of doctors, as they juggle their careers, family, social calendars and friendships. From baby deliveries to some of Atlanta's largest charities, these women are united by medicine. Season 1 featured: Jacqueline Walters -- a doctor to stars like Toni Braxton, T.I., and Usher -- who is a board-certified OBGYN, two-time breast-cancer survivor, and has a daughter, Kursten, through her marriage to husband Curtis; Kari Wells, the British-born model and CFO of her husband's orthopedic practice and medical realty company, who has two children, Alexa (8) and Bryson (7), with her husband of 10 years, Colombian raised, orthopedic surgeon Duncan Wells; Mariah Huq, the founder/CEO of Mariah Media Group and a producer of MARRIED TO MEDICINE, who has two children, Lauren-Taylor (8) and Ethan-Tyler (6), with husband Dr. Aydin Huq, an emergency physician and native of Bangladesh; Quad Webb-Lunceford, a medical sales representative, who is newly wed to psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Lunceford, a man with a reserved demeanor that often clashes with her feistiness; Simone Whitmore, an independent OBGYN, who has two sons, Miles (14) and Michael (10), with husband Cecil Whitmore; and Toya Bush-Harris, a pharmaceutical rep, who has two boys, Ashton (3) and Avery (1), with husband Eugene, while helping him launch his medical concierge business.
