Plot Synopsis

MARRIED WITH SECRETS is a one-hour series that profiles the dark and twisted psychological warfare of marriages, dramatizing the surprising stories of seemingly perfect marriages that turned out to be modern day nightmares. From secret sadomasochistic sex games to hitmen for hire, there's no vow too sacred to break and no place too twisted to go for these spouses. Each 60-minute episode features a different story, including: Eliette Dominique, whose husband is in a hit-and-run accident and who, when visiting him at the hospital, encounters the other Mrs. Dominique -- a woman she must deal with when his death takes the trauma well past a love-triangle and into a deadly fight for inheritance money; Dr. Dirk Greineder and his lovely wife, Mabel, who epitomize upper class wealth -- a successful medical career, a faithful wife and three Ivy League children -- but things get a little dicey when a secret X-rated addiction spirals out of control and results in a gruesome murder; Elaine O'Hara, who is assumed to have taken her own life when she disappears in 2012 -- but her remains are found over a year later and investigators realize there's more to this story when they uncover a dark world of S&M and domination; and many more tales when husbands and wives embark on secret lives that take them down devastating paths. Season 2 of MARRIED WITH SECRETS premiered on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "Never Coming Home," a mother and her two young sons vanish in rural Wyoming, prompting a nationwide search. Leads dry up and the case goes cold... until a dark secret is revealed, leading investigators to another homicide they had no clue could solve four murders.
