Plot Synopsis

Produced with the cooperation of The U.S. Marshal Service, this one-hour reality series follows officers as they track down extremely violent offenders, serve warrants, and hunt for America's most wanted criminals. Each 60-minute episode of MARSHAL LAW: TEXAS highlights three different missions, including: a deadly shooting spree that puts the whole task force to the test in a race against the clock; a mission to catch a violent thief of unusual size; a murderer in a drug-deal-gone-bad; a suburban strip-mall shooter with a history of running from the law; a church love triangle that turns violent; the search for a gang member wanted for stabbing a woman over a taco; a violent home-invasion gang being tracked down; a hunt that leads two officers across the city; a teen on the run after stabbing his mentor 50 times; a woman who threw acid in a family member's face; and many more cases involving thugs, gang members, drug dealers, and other criminals. MARSHAL LAW: TEXAS centers on the elite Southern District of Texas, U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force in Houston, TX, which includes U.S. Marshals working with personnel from the Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Criminal Justice-OIG, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Attorney General's Office, Harris County Constable's Office Precinct 4, and other law-enforcement agencies. Featured Task Force Members include: Spencer Pellegrin, a charismatic and well-respected veteran of the Task Force, who was recenty made a supervisor; Natalie Garza, who is known for her expert marksmanship and for taking a creative, savvy approach to obtaining information leading to an arrest; David Crain, a retired police officer, who is a machine for putting away bad guys, which brought him out of retirement to join the Gulf Coast Task Force & US Marshal; Dave Juers, who uses his truck as a second home and stake-out vehicle; James 'JD' Drury, one of the most respected officers on the Task Force, who will put his own cases on hold in order to jump in and take down the most wanted criminals; Troy 'Thor' Stewart, whose hulking frame instills fear in anyone who stands in his way, but who also likes to joke around with fellow officers; Shanna Rodgers, a six-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals, who recently made the move from a desk to the field; Max Pinon, a decorated officer with a history of bringing down some of the U.S. Marshals Service 15 Most Wanted fugitives; and Supervisory Deputy Arthur 'Art' Fernandez, a 16-year veteran of the U.S. Marshal Service, who longs for the glory days of chasing down criminals on foot.
