Plot Synopsis

Stand-up comic and food lover Ty Barnett makes people laugh while digging into the best meal deals in town. With a one-hour set to deliver each night, Ty has 23 other hours to feed his passion for good food at a great price. In this series he has $30 in his pocket in each town to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and after-hours snacks. On Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 4:30pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the pilot of MEALIN' & DEALIN', but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Ty stops at Denver where he has every base covered -- from the breakfast boudin plate at Chickee's Lil Kitchen to a pork belly bahn mi sandwich at New Saigon for lunch. Then, it's the burger bargain at Uber Eats, complete with gourmet tater tots, and a fried apple pie dessert at Steuben's.
