Plot Synopsis

MEDITERRANEAN LIFE is a half-hour series that follows American families looking for new homes in the Mediterranean. On Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Family of Seven Moves to Spain," a couple decides to make their college dream a reality and move their family of seven from Virginia to Andalucia, Spain, and hope to settle down near the Mediterranean Sea in a spacious, kid-friendly villa with a pool. More than one year later -- on New Year's Day 2019 -- HGTV debuted back-to-back sneak peek episodes. MEDITERRANEAN LIFE had its official series premiere on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as HGTV debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Cruising to Nice" (10pm): A couple from New York fell in love at first sight with Nice and are now looking to make a property on the French Riviera their home away from home. But properties on the coast of France can be pricey, and she wants to live in the midst of French charm while he cares more about having the best views of the Mediterranean.

"From the Movie Industry to Sunny Spain" (10:30pm): Ann and Chris have long shared a dream of living in Spain, and when it came time to take a break from their work in the movie industry, they decided to settle down to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle on the country's Mediterranean coast. They're looking for a home in La Herradura, which has an exceptional climate, reasonable real estate prices and friendly people.
