Plot Synopsis

In the trendy Melrose neighborhood of Los Angeles, a group of 20-somethings lives in an elegant Spanish-style apartment complex. Sydney Andrews -- from the original "Melrose Place" -- is the landlady. She might be 40, but she's still as dangerous and beautiful as ever. Now, she meddles in the lives of her tenants, and she even has an affair with one of them -- David Breck, the rebellious son of Dr. Michael Mancini. The other tenants are: Ella Simms, a high-powered publicist who's on the outs with Sydney; chef Auggie Kirkpatrick, who met Sydney at an AA meeting; Lauren Yung, a med student desperate to pay her bills; Jonah Miller, an aspiring filmmaker and his live-in fiance Riley Richmond; and Violet Foster, who is new to Los Angeles and finds a body floating in the courtyard pool when she arrives. David is the leading suspect but, as the police are soon to discover, almost everyone living at Melrose Place had a reason to want the deceased out of the way.
