Plot Synopsis

Each year on the night of the championship game for the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament -- the night March Madness ends -- a different group of adorable kitten athletes hit the court to play bascatball in this annual two-hour feline catstravaganza. Hosted by Beth Stern, national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America, MEOW MADNESS features four-time NBA Champion John Salley and commentator Mary Carillo doing play by play and Godfrey as the referee. On the road to the Final Fur, this 120-minute special showcases adoptable kittens in a furrocious tournament presented in association with North Shore Animal League America (the nation's largest no-kill shelter and animal adoption organization; http://www.animalleague.org/) and Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (https://lasthopeanimalrescue.org/).
